It might feel like a calm conversation

How many times have we opened a fresh notebook with the intention to start a beautiful journey of words? A diary that would not be stopped by the limitations of of the page count? An endless stream of ideas would just pour out of the pen for years?

Oh, the power of the boundless enthusiasm can be quite strong with some of us; and especially at the beginning of a year, or a book. The intentions for this page of notes are more ambitious.

Thankfully we do not need to rely on a single person’s musings alone. That experience can be had on other sites. Instead we would like to write a bit in the way we like to work.

Over the next few weeks—and hopefully beyond—we will start a series of interviews with some excellent people whom we have had a pleasure to work with. The interviews will be incredibly casual and actually more like overheard conversations.

Many excellent people do and make amazing things. But it is often the ones who do not write about them, and do not tweet, and barely update their status, who actually create some pretty outstanding and relevant work. And so I will not try to interview those with the most followers, or those with the largest budgets.

We intend to simply have conversations with people whose process or work we admire. And because this place here is not printed, some of the conversations could continue over a longer period of time.

Let’s see.
